Auburn Game Days!
I have been counting down the days until football season arrived! Saturday games, family, friends, good food and fun! So, I must admit, I hated football when I was in undergraduate and graduate school, but I have developed a love for the game within the past 7 years. Growing up the youngest of three siblings and having two older brothers, I’ve always been the girl who loves Jesus, speaking, pageants, dance, fashion and volunteering. Football was never on my list of fun things that I enjoyed. Well, 7 years ago, my family decided to buy season tickets to the Auburn games and 7 years later, it’s been such a great family tradition to spend game days in Auburn. Since I’m a speaker and a style blogger, many of my friends have asked why I’m not doing some game day interviews with the fans when I go to the games, so I’m thinking about taking some video blogs when I go to games this year. I’ll also be visiting my Alma Mater and I’d love to show you guys around! I know football isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s definitely fun whenever you learn the game and I would love to showcase how different the game is when you step out of your comfort zone.
I’m the youngest of three siblings and I’m also the only girl. My mom tells me all the time that when I was a little girl, I always loved wearing her high heels and big hats. Well, it’s years later & some things never change! Be you! Be happy! Be exactly who God has called you to be!
As much as I love the warm months, I must say… I’m ready for fall to arrive… Here’s a little throwback to , Leather Jackets, Bomber Jackets, Blanket Scarves, Felt Hats, Tunic Sweaters and Patterned Booties, and of course.. Pumkin everything!
Life is filled with so many beautiful moments. Grab a hold of the thought that you are here on earth for such a time as this because someone needs your encouragement, someone needs to hear your testimony and most of all, someone needs your unconditional love and acceptance. We live in a world where so many things are fleeting. Be the one who commits to loving people back to life.
Ruffles, Ruffles and more Ruffles!
Today, I’m featuring this beautiful ruffle dress from Old Navy that can be worn as I’ve styled it in the pictures above or it can also be worn as a one shoulder dress. One thing I love about ruffle dresses is that they are super versatile. Wear them as a fun, casual look or you can dress them up with a high heel shoe and cute accessories. I have always loved bright colors, so I chose wear this dress with a pair of pink tassel earrings. My wedges have a heel and they are definitely the sleekest, comfortable pair of wedges that I own by BCBG. Style is all about showcasing your personality. Never be afraid to add a pop of color to your wardrobe. Happy Styling!
Statement sleeves are so popular now and this Umgee blouse is cute and comfy! Pair it with a pair of jeans or dressy paints and a wedge heel & you’re literally out the door!
I started my style blog on social media sites almost a year ago. I love fashion. I love mixing high end pieces with low end pieces to create a fun, classy look. Most of all, I love inspiring and encouraging others to be exactly who God has called them to be. Many people stop me and ask me about an outfit I’m wearing and that then becomes an opportunity to listen to someone else’s store and share the love of Jesus Christ. Confidence is a beautiful thing. A confident person doesn’t see other people as their competition, they celebrate others and encourage them along their journey as well. Beauty is common on the outside, but true beauty on the inside is a rare, life changing gift. Be that rare gem that everyone needs in their life. Kindness is a language that everyone understands.
