Hey Loves!
Muses is such a beneficial app to both new and established bloggers. Muses provides opportunities for bloggers to collaborate directly with brands. Direct collaboration takes the guesswork out of trying to find a PR Contact because the collaboration representative selects the influencers that reflect their current project. If you’re new to the blogging world, it’s so easy to become overwhelmed with information, but I’m here to tell you a few tips that help make my blogging days so much easier!
First, think about why you started blogging in the first place. I started blogging because I was always asked by friends and family for style advice. After a while, I started brainstorming ideas about how I could share styles and make a difference in the lives of others. Essentially, I wanted to create a fashion centered content with a message that focused on empowering and inspiring women to be comfortable in their own skin, and that is how SavedClassyandChic was born.
Second, do your research. Before pitching to a brand, research the company to see if the brand fits your niche. If your blog incorporates several niches, be sure the collaboration would provide beneficial content to your readers. Is this collaboration something your readers would be interested in knowing more about? Is this a product that you believe in? It’s important to know that it’s perfectly alright to politely decline collaborations that don’t fit your brand. Don’t sacrifice the integrity of your brand by backing a company that you don’t believe in their products.
Third, Don’t be afraid to ask questions. If a brand wants you to create content for them, ask as many questions as possible. You want to be able to create the best possible content. It’s important you and the brand are transparent with your expectations.
Fourth, Be yourself. At the end of the day, people will love you for being true to who you are. Your style, your content, the major details of your blog should be a representation of who you are. Don’t worry about what others are doing and your tribe will come!
Last, but certainly not least, always strive to make your content better every day. One of the goals I set for myself as a blogger is to keep moving forward. I look at my content from day one and all of my content looks so different now. I believe it’s important to continue working hard and developing your craft. Hard work always pays off, loves! Happy Monday!
